The 43rd Indian Social Science Congress, hosted this year on 11 January 2020 at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Center for Management Studies, ended on a remarkable note. The forum served as an eye-opener in regards to the Social Science scenario in the country with eminent personalities from the field enlightening the audience on the different ways that could be adopted to move forward and live as a better society.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Rangapa emphasized how we must look to the future with optimism especially in the aspect of science and technology. He urged the scientists to thoroughly explore their arena and contribute towards and bring about notable improvements in the field.
Among other noted dignitaries from the research field, V.N Bhoraskar from the department of Physics, Sungkyunkwan University, Republic of Korea presented papers titled “Recent Development in Nuclear Technology and its benefits to society", which was the highlight of the meet.
Later during the day, the session was presided by various communication scholars who focused on the most pressing concerns and current trends in Journalism, the impact of social media, pseudo-journalism and much more.
