The first year students of Jain (Deemed-to-be-University), Center for Management Studies experienced a day of celebration and competitive events that will be etched forever in the minds of students on the account of Fresher’s Day on 24 July 2019. It was a day filled with excitement, joy, resounding laughter, enthusiasm, and happiness.
After an encouraging address by our director Dr. Dinesh Nilkant, the event began in full swing. With events including Solo Dance, Personality, Best Manager, Media manager, Group Dance, Solo Singing, Humorous Speech Contest, Business Plan, and Business Quiz, there was something for everyone. Various college newsletters and magazines were released on Fresher’s Day.
Apart from aiming to win the individual prizes, the classes aimed to win the overall championship trophy. After a tough competition amongst the freshers’, BBA section A raked up the most points on Fresher’s Day and were thus crowned champions. At the end, the Freshers experienced being part of a melting pot of intellectual and cultural stimulation- impeccable ’first taste’ of a fulfilling and rewarding learning experience.
