Internships are a great way for students to gain real-world experience in their chosen field of study. They can also help students to network with professionals in their field and learn new skills and knowledge. In addition, internships can help students determine if a particular career is a good fit for them and make connections that could lead to a full-time job after graduation. There are different types of internships available. Therefore, students should be sure to find one that is a good fit for their skills and interests.
JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) - Center for Management Studies offers internships and is mandated to all students to bridge the gap between academia and real corporate world culture.
An Internship Fair is conducted for all the students of the third semester and fifth semester every year. 100+ companies offer their internship roles in various broad fields like Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Operations.
An internship is one of the assessment parameters in all the courses in the program and it is mandatory to all the students.
The onus of the Internship falls on the students, the placement team’s role is to facilitate internships and support the students by providing opportunities for internships.
During my 3rd semester in the BBA program, I had the opportunity to intern at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) placement department. This experience equipped me with valuable skills and confidence for my career growth. Under the guidance of CMS's internship and placement departments, I received training to excel in interviews, paving the way for my successful career opportunity for the next phase of my life.

My internship as an Operations Analyst at Morgan Stanley through CMS Placement Internship was nothing short of remarkable. It provided me with a deep understanding of the corporate world and its culture. Interacting with managing directors and executive leaders from various departments, both within and outside India, broadened my perspective and fuelled my passion for finance and operations.
During my tenure, I honed essential skills—financial modelling, risk assessment, and effective communication. I learned to convey complex ideas succinctly and persuasively. Working on multiple projects immersed me in the intricacies of operations, and collaborating with my team taught me the value of synergy and collective success.
A defining moment was seeing my picture displayed in Times Square, New York City - an acknowledgment by Morgan Stanley for its interns. This experience wouldn’t have been possible without CMS’s excellent placement opportunities and internships. To top it off, I received a pre-placement offer from Morgan Stanley, sealing my excitement to begin my corporate journey with this prestigious institution.
In retrospect, my Morgan Stanley internship was transformative. It ignited my passion, fortified my skills, and set the stage for an exciting career. I look forward to contributing my best as I embark on this remarkable path.

"I am deeply grateful to 'The Placement cell of CMS JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)' for getting us placed in the top organizations of the country.
During the interview rounds that were conducted by Dell, we got to learn a lot. The interview process was in three phases, with the group discussion being our primary round. In the group discussion round, we were given a topic and only 5 minutes to ideate and gather our thoughts on both for the topic and the opposing topic.
The second round was a personal interview round which consisted of various questions. The final round was a HR round where the HR asked about our future plans and goals and made us feel comfortable. Overall, I learned a lot about myself and dell, felt good testing my skills during the interview process.
