Center for Management Studies, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) organized a talk on The Good Governance Day on the 12 December 2018 to propagate awareness to students on the need for Good Governance in nation-building.
Rtd. Justice Santosh Hedge, Former Lokayukta and Supreme Court Judge was the chief guest of the event. Mr. Santosh Kumar, a dynamic young founder Director of The Good Quest Foundation, a body of volunteers who work among the less privileged and marginalized in Bangalore graced the occasion with his presence as the guest of honor.
Rtd. Justice Santosh Hedge addresses the students to serve the nation selflessly and emphasized on the Principles of Sound and Good Governance in nation-building, he further inspired the audience with his experiences and challenges he faced as a public servant in keeping up honesty and accountability throughout his service. He also shared a research paper written by himself for the students. The audiences were inspired by his speech and the interaction between him and students witnessed interesting questions and answers.
He appreciated for organizing such an event which shows its concern and sensitivity in transforming young minds to future leaders into tomorrow’s corporate world. The event was added more color with activities such as poster making and signature campaigns on the theme of the day.
