Vidhyanidhi Webinar Series

Students Research & Development Cell (SRDC) titled ‘Vidhyanidhi’ is a part of ‘Research & Consultancy Cell’ (R&C) of Center for Management Studies, Jain (Deemed-to-be University). SRDC aims at contributing to the betterment of students involved in research activity by providing them a platform to develop their research thinking. The platform also updates the students with details of upcoming Conferences and Seminars that they can attend along with a complete list of Peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed Journals with high impact factors to make it convenient for them to go for standard paper publications. For this purpose, students are also trained by teachers on the process of writing a research paper and getting it published. They are mentored on how to write a research paper by understanding the nature of this assignment, selecting a topic, preparing a working outline, locating materials, making notes, organizing content, citing sources, editing the prepared content, and transforming the entire process into a substantial research paper. New avenues of research are made available to the student fraternity by introducing them to research a variety of topics from diverse domains of Management like General Management, International Management, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Strategy, Consulting, Entrepreneurship, etc. As a result, for the year 2019-20, 80 students attempted to write research papers under the supervision and guidance of their research mentors, out of which 18 papers got selected and published in reputed journals. In the year 2020-21, the number increased to 120 students attempting to write research papers, out of which 25 papers got published. SRDC believes in providing hands-on experience to students in the field of research and for this purpose, it organized the first event of its kind called ‘Student Symposium’ on October 21, 2020, where students conducted the entire research event under the supervision and guidance of R&C.
