Industrial Visit to IKEA

On 22nd September 2022, the final-year BBA students visited IKEA as part of their academic curriculum. The objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to contemporary retail operations, supply chain management, and customer experience strategies adopted by a leading global brand.
During the visit, students observed IKEA’s unique store layout, product display mechanisms, and self-service model, gaining valuable insights into how the company integrates design, affordability, and sustainability into its business practices. The visit effectively complemented classroom learning by connecting theoretical concepts with real-world retail management applications.
