Industrial Visit to Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation (KSIC), Mysore

On July 4th, 2023, the final-year BBA students visited KSIC, Mysore, to understand the production process of the renowned Mysore Silk. The visit encompassed the entire value chain—from cocoon procurement to weaving and finishing. Students gained hands-on exposure to aspects such as quality control, branding, and marketing strategies adopted by KSIC. The experience bridged theoretical knowledge with practical insights, deepening their understanding of traditional manufacturing and its integration with modern business strategies.
